Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Eduardo Santos kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Cotem booed when Mido FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Valente didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th minute Eduardo Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Cotem's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Branco came free, but Amadeu Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute, Luís Brás hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 15th minute of the game. One of Mido FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cotem:s goal. The referee gave Cotem a penalty, 16 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Pedro Mendes, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Mido FC's Alexandre Silva. 0-1. Amadeu Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Branco, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Amadeu Sousa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hélder Neves went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Alexandre Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artur Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mido FC's Alexandre Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Santos in the 39th minute of play. Hélder Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hélder Neves struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Amadeu Sousa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mido FC. Eduardo Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Silva having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristiano Branco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Cotem's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Branco came free, but Amadeu Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eduardo Santos in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexandre Silva saved Mido FC from getting behind. Alexandre Silva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Artur Amorim in the 57th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Cristiano Branco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amadeu Sousa. Cotem's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristiano Branco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Alexandre Silva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 69th minute, Artur Amorim reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alexandre Silva. The goal made the score 3-2. Alexandre Silva didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Artur Amorim went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. 88 minutes into the match, Hélder Neves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amadeu Sousa. Cotem's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hélder Neves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. Mido FC were awarded a corner in the 95th minute after Cotem's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eusébio Reis took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Heitor Alves managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Mido FC had won after a very even match.
