Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pedro Tavares started the match with the kick off. After 7 played minutes SC Almendras got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Viegas. SC Almendras's Daniel Campos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Leite in the 8th minute of play. 11 minutes into the game, Manuel Moura was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Almendras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Laundos the free kick. Henrique Teixeira shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. If Pedro Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mariano Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Domingos Alves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfredo Leite to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to SC Almendras getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Vítor Pinheiro hit a great ball. Alfredo Leite struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Daniel Campos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Laundos. When Pedro Tavares came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the SC Almendras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Tavares couldn't finish the play. 67 minutes into the match, Laundos's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Marques came free, but Domingos Alves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 70 played minutes Laundos got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Almeida. Domingos Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Tavares in the 73rd minute of play. 82 minutes into the game, SC Almendras's Mariano Marques nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Domingos Alves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Afonso Viegas charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Afonso Viegas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
