When Duarte Torres came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the SC Paramia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Duarte Torres couldn't finish the play. Bernardo Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Borba in the 19th minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Rui Borba reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bernardo Andrade. The goal made the score 2-0. After 32 minutes, Alberto Cardoso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Paramia and the Empardeadas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, SC Paramia's Alberto Cardoso got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rui Borba to make the kick off. Empardeadas FC's Bernardo Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duarte Torres in the 53rd minute of play. Bernardo Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duarte Torres in the 56th minute of the match. Afonso Garcia kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Rui Pinheiro, 63 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Nuno Lopes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Empardeadas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nuno Lopes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredo Fonseca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Albertino Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Fonseca having to interfere. Empardeadas FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
