Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Paulo Fernandes started the match with the kick off. Alberto Pinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Mendes having to interfere. Cristóvão Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. António Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José Valente made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulo Fernandes in the 11th minute. Cristóvão Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 22 minutes into the game, Ricardo Ferro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Vaiamonte's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Passadouro FC the free kick. Ricardo Ferro kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Passadouro FC's Paulo Oliveira tried to score from far away in the 24th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Xavier Assunção struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. José Valente didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Passadouro FC. When Alberto Pinto came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the SC Vaiamonte fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Pinto couldn't finish the play. In the 33rd match minute, Passadouro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Fernandes to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute, Alberto Pinto made a precise shot to the right of António Mendes. Passadouro FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Xavier Assunção had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Passadouro FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Paulo Esteves hit a great ball. In the 46th minute, Cristóvão Azevedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

After 55 played minutes Passadouro FC got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Oliveira. After a rather tough play, Passadouro FC's João Macedo got a free kick in the 57th minute. SC Vaiamonte's Alberto Pinto got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ricardo Ferro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Xavier Assunção had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. António Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Pinto in the 77th minute of play. In the 79th minute of the match Alfredo Domingues shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but António Mendes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Pinto in the 80th minute of play forced Passadouro FC's goalkeeper António Mendes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xavier Assunção fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Valente having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Cristóvão Azevedo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Vaiamonte fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Passadouro FC's António Mendes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Pinto in the 96th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. SC Vaiamonte walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
