Fradizela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that João Nogueira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. A very good chance. 25 minutes into the match, Fradizela's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Lima came free, but Amílcar Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 28 minutes, Viriato Baptista mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fradizela and the Tabaco players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Nogueira in the 31st minute of play forced Fradizela's goalkeeper Amílcar Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute Fernando Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amílcar Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amílcar Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Nogueira in the 37th minute of play. The audience was convinced that João Nogueira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amílcar Teixeira was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gabriel Almeida during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lúcio Veiga made a great header on Tabaco's corner, it was just that Fradizela's Amílcar Teixeira managed to reach the ball for a save. 44 minutes into the match, Tabaco's goalkeeper Manuel Lopes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Domingues. João Nogueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amílcar Teixeira having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

If Fernando Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Nogueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Fernando Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tabaco's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernando Lima was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amílcar Teixeira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 76th minute, Vicente Santarém hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fernando Lima recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gustavo Gomes hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Manuel Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Marques in the 88th minute of play. If José Domingues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the match, Fradizela's Cristiano Marques sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manuel Lopes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Amadeu Gomes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Manuel Lopes. Tabaco's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Fradizela supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Tabaco's performance. The match ended with a win for Tabaco.
