Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After 3 played minutes Trinhao got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Tavares. Luís Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Andrade having to interfere. Eduardo Andrade made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís Rodrigues in the 8th minute. After having played for 11 minutes, Emílio Pacheco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Querenca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emílio Pacheco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. SC Querenca's Eduardo Andrade proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save SC Querenca from getting a goal against them. In the 16th minute, one of Trinhao:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Trinhao. After a rather tough play, SC Querenca's Fábio Amorim got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Basílio Barbosa hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Gil Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusébio Simões in the 25th minute of the match. Fábio Amorim might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gil Reis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fábio Amorim ran back to his position shaking his head. Gil Reis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusébio Simões, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Trinhao's Gil Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emílio Pacheco in the 37th minute of play. SC Querenca's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Joaquim Tavares 44 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1.
