Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Estrica's Fábio Carvalho started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fábio Amorim hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Cristiano Pinto stood somewhat misplaced when Emílio Pacheco came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 7 minute. 11 minutes into the match, SC Estrica's goal looked a bit too open when Emílio Pacheco came free, but Cristiano Pinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Fábio Carvalho came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the SC Estrica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fábio Carvalho couldn't finish the play. Daniel Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Eduardo Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Andrade having to interfere. Eusébio Simões who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Cristiano Pinto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Daniel Branco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fábio Carvalho's late challenge caught a SC Querenca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fábio Carvalho helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Eusébio Simões managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Querenca's supporters rose to their feet, but Eusébio Simões was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristiano Pinto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 38th minute, Manuel Abreu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jorge Coimbra hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. A hard shot 44 in the game by Eusébio Simões from a close distance when the talented Cristiano Pinto managed to make a qualified save. SC Estrica's players were relieved. After having played for 49 minutes, Daniel Branco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Estrica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Branco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Emílio Pacheco made the kick off in the second half. Emílio Pacheco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Pinto having to interfere. 58 minutes into the game, Fábio Carvalho lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Eduardo Andrade. Eduardo Andrade made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Daniel Branco sent off a good shot on target. In the 65th minute, SC Querenca's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Manuel Abreu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 67 minutes into the match, SC Querenca's goal looked a bit too open when Fábio Carvalho came free, but Eduardo Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eusébio Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Pinto having to interfere. After 69 played minutes SC Estrica got a freekick which was hit by Sérgio Simões. The audience was convinced that Eusébio Simões's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristiano Pinto was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. A hard shot by Armando Nunes from long distance, 76 minutes into the match, got Eduardo Andrade's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Daniel Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Andrade having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Fábio Carvalho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristiano Pinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusébio Simões in the 84th minute of play. Eusébio Simões recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SC Estrica's Cristiano Pinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Simões in the 98th minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
