Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Álvaro Rocha started the match with the kick off. When Golpilheira FC's Delfim Pacheco, in the 8th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Golpilheira FC. Adolfo Costa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oliveira Rodrigues read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Pereira got free with Francisco Cardoso in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Francisco Cardoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Álvaro Rocha in the 15th minute of the match. If Adolfo Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Álvaro Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Pereira got free with Francisco Cardoso in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 36th minute, Adolfo Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 40th minute Delfim Pacheco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oliveira Rodrigues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 51st minute, Cavaco's Alberto Pereira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Francisco Cardoso. Francisco Cardoso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adolfo Costa to strike the kick off in the second half. When Alberto Pereira came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Cavaco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Pereira couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Cavaco's Oliveira Rodrigues got control of the ball when Delfim Pacheco tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Oliveira Rodrigues managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when Golpilheira FC's Delfim Pacheco fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Delfim Pacheco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 70 minutes into the game, one of Golpilheira FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Cavaco a penalty, 73 minutes into the game. An unexpected shot in the 76th minute by Delfim Pacheco got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Cavaco's Álvaro Rocha got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 86 in the game by Delfim Pacheco from a close distance when the talented Oliveira Rodrigues managed to make a qualified save. Cavaco's players were relieved. If Delfim Pacheco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Delfim Pacheco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 103rdth minute tested the skills of Oliveira Rodrigues when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Many of Golpilheira FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Golpilheira FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Cavaco were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
