After 4 played minutes Nabais got a freekick which was hit by Raul Matos. After 5 minutes, Joel Garcia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nabais and the Fermentoes players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 6th match minute, Nabais was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Garcia to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur Moniz in the 8th minute of play forced Fermentoes's goalkeeper Bruno Coelho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 9 played minutes Fermentoes got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Porto. After a defensive mix-up in Nabais's zone, Lourenço Delgado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Miranda came out of the goal and Lourenço Delgado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Raul Matos fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nabais's protests and gave Raul Matos a yellow card for diving instead. Raul Matos kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Garcia in the 25th minute of play forced Fermentoes's goalkeeper Bruno Coelho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute, Artur Moniz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruno Coelho was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Raul Matos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruno Coelho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Artur Moniz's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Joel Garcia struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Bruno Coelho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nabais. Joel Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Joaquim Rodrigues managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fermentoes's supporters rose to their feet, but Joaquim Rodrigues was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. André Miranda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lourenço Delgado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but André Miranda made a huge save. Joel Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Fermentoes players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Nabais were winning 0-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joaquim Rodrigues to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Fermentoes's zone, Artur Moniz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Coelho came out of the goal and Artur Moniz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 57 minutes into the match, Fermentoes's goalkeeper Bruno Coelho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joel Garcia. With a little luck, Fermentoes's Bruno Coelho got control of the ball when Joel Garcia tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 60th minute by Joel Garcia got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Joel Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Coelho having to interfere. Lúcio Assis's late challenge caught a Nabais's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lúcio Assis helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Fermentoes fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 67th minute. Penalty! After having played for 74 minutes, Joaquim Rodrigues managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fermentoes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joaquim Rodrigues was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lourenço Delgado in the 75th minute of play forced Nabais's goalkeeper André Miranda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Nabais's zone, Joaquim Rodrigues stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Miranda came out of the goal and Joaquim Rodrigues tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Fermentoes booed when Nabais was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Torres didn't get a good kick on the ball. David Torres kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After 82 minutes of play, Nabais's Joel Garcia made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruno Coelho was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bruno Coelho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Garcia went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Joel Garcia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bruno Coelho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. In the 98th minute Joaquim Rodrigues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Miranda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Lourenço Delgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Nabais had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
