Francisco Figueiredo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 32nd minute Mário Maia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Figueiredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, SC Catassol's Rui Ferreira got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute, Mariano Amaro made a precise shot to the right of Francisco Figueiredo. SC Catassol's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mário Maia was the one to do the kick off.
