Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gonçalo Sá took the kick off in the first half of the match. Alfredo Mendes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. André Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Diamantino Trindade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Delgada FC defense, Sandro Veiga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Simões. The Delgada FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Simões should have stopped the shot. In the 19th minute, Rui Simões ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. André Vale was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Sandro Veiga's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Ricardo Simões skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ricardo Simões took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonçalo Sá, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diamantino Trindade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. André Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Mos's André Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Mendes in the 29th minute of play. Sebastião Borba hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute, Alfredo Mendes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. SC Mos's Jaime Leal shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 38th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ricardo Simões but with some difficulty. After a rather tough play, SC Mos's Alexandre Abreu got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rui Simões to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, SC Mos's goal looked a bit too open when António Gaspar came free, but André Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute, Alfredo Mendes made a precise shot to the right of André Vale. SC Mos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. André Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Simões in the 59th minute of the match. Sandro Veiga took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardo Simões. Ricardo Simões dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. André Vale didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rui Simões went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. In the 89th minute, SC Mos's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alfredo Mendes fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Delgada FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
