The supporters of Vermil FC booed when SC Mos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastião Borba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sandro Veiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Guarda having to interfere. 19 minutes into the game, Sandro Veiga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Joaquim Guarda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Joaquim Guarda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sandro Veiga went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Vermil FC's zone, Gonçalo Sá stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquim Guarda came out of the goal and Gonçalo Sá tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manuel Viegas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute, Sandro Veiga made a precise shot to the right of Joaquim Guarda. Vermil FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After a rather tough play, SC Mos's Rodrigo Gomes got a free kick in the 46th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gonçalo Sá made a kick off. André Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrique Paiva in the 58th minute of play. Cândido Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Joaquim Guarda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sandro Veiga in the 62nd minute. Henrique Paiva took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised André Vale. André Vale dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Henrique Paiva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vermil FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Henrique Paiva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. André Vale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. André Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Viegas in the 72nd minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, SC Mos's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Viegas came free, but André Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, SC Mos's Cândido Queirós got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 77th minute of the match Vermil FC got a corner. SC Mos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Xavier Pereira ran over to the corner to take the kick. Gonçalo Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Guarda having to interfere. Sandro Veiga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joaquim Guarda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Sandro Veiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Guarda having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. SC Mos had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
