Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Manuel Soares made the kick off and thus started the match. After a rather tough play, Alpedriz's Cláudio Leite got a free kick in the 4th minute. Nuno Barros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Dias in the 7th minute. After 10 minutes, Cláudio Leite mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alpedriz and the Texugueira players grew even worse after the yellow card. Texugueira were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after Alpedriz's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Miguel Maia took the corner. In the 15th minute of the match Texugueira got a corner. Alpedriz's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Miguel Maia ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 17 minutes, Vítor Coelho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Texugueira and the Alpedriz players grew even worse after the yellow card. Manuel Soares struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Paulo Pedroso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alpedriz. In the 24th minute, Mariano Dias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristiano Gomes in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nuno Barros saved Alpedriz from getting behind. Mariano Dias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Nuno Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot by Miguel Maia from long distance, 33 minutes into the match, got Nuno Barros's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Manuel Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Soares in the 42nd minute of play forced Texugueira's goalkeeper Paulo Pedroso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Pedro Guarda came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Alpedriz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Guarda couldn't finish the play. In the 44th minute Manuel Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Pedroso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Guarda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Pedroso having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Pedro Guarda made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 54thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Paulo Pedroso would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. 55 minutes into the game, Texugueira's Cristiano Gomes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nuno Barros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Pedro Guarda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Cristiano Costa fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alpedriz's protests and gave Cristiano Costa a yellow card for diving instead. Cristiano Costa hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Pedro Guarda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st match minute, Texugueira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vítor Coelho to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd minute of the match Luís Simões sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulo Pedroso skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Texugueira getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Mariano Dias hit a great ball. Alpedriz's Cláudio Leite got his second yellow card of the match in the 81st minute. The referee ordered Cláudio Leite off the ground. Nuno Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Dias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86thth minute of the game Mariano Dias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alpedriz's Nuno Barros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Pedro Guarda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alpedriz's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Guarda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Pedroso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 94th minute, Pedro Guarda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alpedriz were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
