In the 20th match minute, SC Vidoedo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emílio Maia to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in SC Vidoedo's zone, Viriato Faro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexandre Fontes came out of the goal and Viriato Faro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Artur Torres kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Fábio Vieira might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cândido Esteves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fábio Vieira ran back to his position shaking his head. Fábio Vieira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Cândido Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Fábio Vieira made the kick off in the second half. Estaleiro's Cândido Esteves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fábio Vieira in the 52nd minute of play. Viriato Faro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th match minute, SC Vidoedo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cândido Melo to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Rafael Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estaleiro's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafael Almeida was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexandre Fontes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 58 played minutes SC Vidoedo got a freekick which was hit by Eusébio Ferreira. Viriato Faro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexandre Fontes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Rafael Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Fontes having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Viriato Faro in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexandre Fontes saved SC Vidoedo from getting behind. 74 minutes into the game, Manuel Brito was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Estaleiro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Vidoedo the free kick. If Fábio Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 84 played minutes, Estaleiro's Filipe Neves shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alexandre Fontes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Estaleiro reached it. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Rafael Almeida put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Alexandre Fontes. After some careless play in the SC Vidoedo defense, Rafael Almeida kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alexandre Fontes. The SC Vidoedo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alexandre Fontes should have stopped the shot. After having played for 94 minutes, Rafael Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Estaleiro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Almeida was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexandre Castro during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Estaleiro getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Alexandre Castro hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Estaleiro had won after a very even match.
