SC Calvino's Rui Esteves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Borba in the 7th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélder Almeida in the 12th minute of play forced Ferraria's goalkeeper Rui Machado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rui Esteves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diogo Lisboa in the 14th minute of the match. Rui Esteves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adelino Santarém in the 22nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, SC Calvino's Gonçalo Azevedo got a free kick in the 25th minute. After 29 played minutes Ferraria got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Moutinho. Rogério Barbosa made a great header on SC Calvino's corner, it was just that Ferraria's Rui Machado managed to reach the ball for a save. Jorge Viana came free with the goalkeeper in the 46th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rui Machado could save by the left post. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After 54 played minutes, Ferraria's Hugo Garcia shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rui Esteves came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ferraria reached it. Adelino Santarém sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marco Borba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Rui Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute, André Freitas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Hélder Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marco Borba might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rui Esteves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marco Borba ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 70thth minute of the game Hélder Almeida who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ferraria's Rui Machado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 71 minutes into the game, Diogo Lisboa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ferraria's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Calvino the free kick. André Freitas hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. SC Calvino's Jorge Viana got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Ferraria's Diogo Lisboa got a free kick in the 81st minute. Rui Machado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Viana in the 82nd minute of play. In the 85th minute of the match Rogério Barbosa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rui Machado showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Pedro Miranda hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. 90 minutes into the match, Ferraria's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Viana came free, but Rui Machado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorge Viana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Calvino's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
