But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaspar Dantas couldn't finish the play. In the 32nd minute, Rodrigo Torres ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tiago Moutinho was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Galvao FC's Gaspar Dantas got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Sendim FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sendim FC reached it. The Sendim FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
