Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Vicente Machado started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vicente Machado in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernando Araújo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fernando Araújo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Machado in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Basílio Sousa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Armindo Pedroso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Luís Torres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Vicente Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Basílio Sousa in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernando Araújo saved Valdujo FC from getting behind. In the 26th match minute, Amendoeira FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by António Anjos to maneuver through the defense. Valdujo FC's Rui Ferreira shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 27th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Luís Torres but with some difficulty. Fernando Araújo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Machado in the 28th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Amendoeira FC's goalkeeper Luís Torres had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastião Castro. Sebastião Castro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Valdujo FC's Fernando Araújo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Machado in the 38th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 52ndth minute of the game Vicente Machado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Valdujo FC's Fernando Araújo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sebastião Castro in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Torres saved Amendoeira FC from getting behind. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luís Torres prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Sebastião Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute Armindo Pedroso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Torres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armindo Pedroso in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Torres saved Amendoeira FC from getting behind. When Amendoeira FC's Basílio Sousa in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Valdujo FC's goalie prevented a goal. Vicente Machado hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Luís Torres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armindo Pedroso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Sebastião Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valdujo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastião Castro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Torres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Moreira during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Valdujo FC booed when Amendoeira FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Moreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. 87 minutes into the game, Sebastião Castro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Luís Torres was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Vicente Machado came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Amendoeira FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vicente Machado couldn't finish the play. Valdujo FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
