After some careless play in the SC Tancos defense, Joel Queirós kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristiano Melo. The SC Tancos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristiano Melo should have stopped the shot. 22 minutes into the match, Afonso Henriques had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eduardo Magalhães. Oliveirinha's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Afonso Henriques was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 26th minute, Joel Queirós ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristiano Melo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Afonso Henriques got free with Eduardo Magalhães in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Afonso Henriques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Nunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Gaspar Santarém came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Oliveirinha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaspar Santarém couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

54 minutes into the match, Oliveirinha's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Nunes came free, but Eduardo Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gaspar Santarém sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Magalhães having to interfere. After 70 played minutes Oliveirinha got a freekick which was hit by Armindo Araújo. Eduardo Magalhães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Henriques in the 71st minute of the match. In the 73rd minute SC Tancos were awarded a corner. Hugo Fontes went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led SC Tancos's Hugo Fontes to fire away a dangerous shot which Eduardo Magalhães despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Eduardo Magalhães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Nunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SC Tancos were furious when Hugo Fontes was red carded, 83 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 82nd minute of the game. One of SC Tancos:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Oliveirinha:s goal. Humberto Paredes shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Joel Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rafael Magalhães during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 91st minute, Rafael Magalhães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 96 minutes into the game, Gustavo Amorim was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Oliveirinha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Tancos the free kick. Gustavo Amorim hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Augusto Teixeira didn't quite understand what happened when in the 98 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Oliveirinha's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
