Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Afonso Oliveira got the match started through his kick off. When Augusto Coelho came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Moreiras FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Coelho couldn't finish the play. 10 minutes into the game, Basílio Reis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Moreiras FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cuvelinhas the free kick. The supporters of Cuvelinhas booed when Moreiras FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basílio Reis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cuvelinhas's João Matos got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 14th minute, Afonso Oliveira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Afonso Veiga was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Nuno Freitas hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Afonso Oliveira took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Afonso Veiga. Afonso Veiga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 27th minute Afonso Oliveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonso Veiga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, João Matos notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Moreiras FC's Afonso Veiga. Afonso Veiga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 37 minutes into the match, Cuvelinhas's Afonso Oliveira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Afonso Veiga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pedro Henriques kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. João Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Veiga having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Augusto Coelho made a kick off. After 54 minutes, Afonso Oliveira made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Moreiras FC's Afonso Veiga tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 58th match minute, Moreiras FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Henriques to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Basílio Reis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moreiras FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Basílio Reis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustavo Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Augusto Coelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Gustavo Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Nuno Freitas was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 70 minutes had been played. Nuno Freitas hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cuvelinhas's goalkeeper Gustavo Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Afonso Oliveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Afonso Oliveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Afonso Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cuvelinhas would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
