Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Jacinto Figueiredo made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 7th minute Eusébio Neto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Gaspar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Álvaro Leite recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 11 minutes, Álvaro Leite managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Benavente's supporters crossed their fingers, but Álvaro Leite was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Alberto Leite fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Benavente's protests and gave Alberto Leite a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, SC Benavente's Alberto Leite got a free kick in the 14th minute. Álvaro Leite's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute, Rafael Gaspar skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Álvaro Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Rafael Gaspar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Eusébio Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the match, SC Benavente's Álvaro Leite sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rafael Gaspar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Álvaro Leite took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rafael Gaspar. Rafael Gaspar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. If Jacinto Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eusébio Neto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Gaspar having to interfere. Rafael Gaspar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Álvaro Leite went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eusébio Neto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 53 in the game by Cláudio Amaro from a close distance when the talented Fernando Alves managed to make a qualified save. SC Benavente's players were relieved. If Jacinto Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to SC Lageosa getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. António Garcia hit a great ball. Rafael Gaspar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusébio Neto in the 67th minute of play. Fernando Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Figueiredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Eusébio Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Rafael Gaspar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Álvaro Leite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Gaspar having to interfere. Rafael Gaspar came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Benavente's Eusébio Neto. But to his dismay, Eusébio Neto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Cláudio Amaro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Fernando Alves made a huge save. Álvaro Leite blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rafael Gaspar having to make a save. SC Benavente were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SC Lageosa for a fine match.
