Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) SC Sobrido's Luís Magalhães started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, SC Sobrido's Fábio Jesus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Júlio Assis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, SC Sobrido's Daniel Amaral got a free kick in the 11th minute. António Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luís Magalhães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Júlio Assis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute of the match Daniel Amaral sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Júlio Assis skillfully saved the ball. Júlio Assis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonçalo Setúbal in the 31st minute of play. The supporters of Pinhete FC booed when SC Sobrido was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Neto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute, Pinhete FC's Raul Ribeiro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Augusto Martins. Augusto Martins yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Pinhete FC's Júlio Assis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fábio Jesus in the 46th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raul Ribeiro made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Raul Ribeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Martins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The long shot by Humberto Leal in the 60th minute really tested Júlio Assis's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Fábio Jesus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Júlio Assis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, SC Sobrido's Fábio Jesus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Júlio Assis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in SC Sobrido's zone, António Santos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Augusto Martins came out of the goal and António Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in SC Sobrido fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 73rd minute. Penalty! In the 76th minute there was a penalty for Pinhete FC. Afonso Assis stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Augusto Martins. 4-0. 81 minutes into the match, SC Sobrido's goal looked a bit too open when António Santos came free, but Augusto Martins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Augusto Martins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raul Ribeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Raul Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 92 minutes into the match, Pinhete FC's goalkeeper Júlio Assis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fábio Jesus. Augusto Martins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from António Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pinhete FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SC Sobrido for a fine match.
