Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. António Gonçalves started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Mariano Ferreira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Agrella's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Balancho the free kick. In the 11th minute, Heitor Araújo made a precise shot to the right of José Pinheiro. Agrella's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Eduardo Gueifão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Simões in the 15th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, António Gonçalves reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of José Pinheiro. The goal made the score 2-1. In the 23rd minute, Américo Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the match, Agrella's goal looked a bit too open when António Gonçalves came free, but José Pinheiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Simão Fonseca's late challenge caught a SC Balancho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Simão Fonseca helped the player get up and apologised. In the 30th match minute, Agrella was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simão Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by Agrella's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. André Tavares was slow to take the kick. During this time SC Balancho's players had a chance to rest. If Heitor Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Pinheiro made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Heitor Araújo sent off a good shot on target. 40 minutes into the match, António Gonçalves dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of José Pinheiro, 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Simões in the 44th minute of play forced SC Balancho's goalkeeper Eduardo Gueifão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Humberto Amaral to strike the kick off in the second half. Emanuel Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 56 minutes into the game, Bernardo Torres was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Balancho's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Agrella the free kick. After 56 played minutes SC Balancho got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Torres. When Humberto Amaral fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Agrella's protests and gave Humberto Amaral a yellow card for diving instead. Simão Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Bernardo Torres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Humberto Amaral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Agrella's supporters rose to their feet, but Humberto Amaral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eduardo Gueifão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Emanuel Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eduardo Gueifão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Américo Rocha was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 83 minutes had been played. Américo Rocha hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. When Emanuel Simões came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Agrella fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Simões couldn't finish the play. 90 minutes into the match, SC Balancho's goalkeeper Eduardo Gueifão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emanuel Simões. In the 92nd minute Humberto Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Gueifão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agrella's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
