Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cristóvão Alves got the match started through his kick off. The audience was convinced that Daniel Amaro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fernando Pires was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. If Cristóvão Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the SC Murgido defense, Lucas Lisboa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hélder Leite. The SC Murgido fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hélder Leite should have stopped the shot. Lucas Lisboa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Hélder Leite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hélder Leite made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucas Lisboa in the 13th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Cristóvão Alves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esculca FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristóvão Alves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hélder Leite breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Amaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Pires having to interfere. Hélder Leite took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristóvão Alves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, SC Murgido's Rui Moura got a free kick in the 24th minute. Esculca FC's Júlio Trindade couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 25th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SC Murgido. Lucas Lisboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucas Lisboa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Amaro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernando Pires read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Daniel Amaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristiano Matias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Fernando Pires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Murgido's defense didn't have a chance, in the 44th minute, when Lucas Lisboa scored to the left of an out of position Hélder Leite, making the score, 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristiano Matias was the one to do the kick off. Cristóvão Alves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Esculca FC's Rodrigo Vale got a free kick in the 56th minute. Fernando Pires showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Amaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristóvão Alves in the 61st minute of play forced SC Murgido's goalkeeper Hélder Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernando Pires showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Matias in the 89th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, SC Murgido's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Tavares came free, but Hélder Leite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Matias in the 95th minute of play forced Esculca FC's goalkeeper Fernando Pires to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute, Abel Dantas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the SC Murgido players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Esculca FC.
