Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Amílcar Brás took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Carvalhido's goalkeeper Sandro Almeida, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Américo Delgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to SC Vido getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Armindo Araújo hit a great ball. Amílcar Brás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandro Almeida having to interfere. Artur Santarém made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cláudio Matias in the 13th minute of play. Artur Santarém came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Carvalhido's Tiago Reis. But to his dismay, Tiago Reis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Artur Santarém showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Artur Santarém took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiago Reis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tiago Reis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Artur Santarém tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, SC Vido's goal looked a bit too open when Cláudio Matias came free, but Artur Santarém reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute, Armindo Araújo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Artur Santarém made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cláudio Matias in the 30th minute of play. Tiago Reis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Artur Santarém tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Cláudio Matias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Artur Santarém. SC Vido's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cláudio Matias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. If Cláudio Matias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th match minute, SC Carvalhido was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xavier Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. Tiago Reis hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After the first half SC Carvalhido were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tiago Reis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Tiago Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to SC Vido getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Cândido Faro hit a great ball. Cláudio Matias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amílcar Brás struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Sandro Almeida didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Vido. If Tiago Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in SC Vido's zone, Cláudio Matias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artur Santarém came out of the goal and Cláudio Matias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Américo Delgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute.
