In the 8th minute, Raul Anjos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Diamantino Cabral fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Imaginario's protests and gave Diamantino Cabral a yellow card for diving instead. Diamantino Cabral kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Vítor Borba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vítor Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vítor Borba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bento Faro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Diamantino Cabral went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Joaquim Vieira kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 35th minute of the match, Diamantino Cabral tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bento Faro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 38 minutes into the game, Augusto Faro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Ingilde's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Imaginario the free kick. The supporters of SC Imaginario booed when SC Ingilde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Faro didn't get a good kick on the ball. SC Imaginario's Joaquim Sousa couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 39th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SC Ingilde. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Raul Anjos managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Imaginario's supporters rose to their feet, but Raul Anjos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bento Faro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bento Faro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raul Anjos went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diamantino Cabral in the 48th minute of play forced SC Ingilde's goalkeeper Bento Faro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diamantino Cabral was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by SC Ingilde's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joaquim Sousa was slow to take the kick. During this time SC Imaginario's players had a chance to rest. If Vítor Borba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 59 played minutes SC Imaginario got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Sousa. Bento Faro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Anjos in the 68th minute of the match. Vítor Borba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vítor Carvalho having to interfere. In the 74th match minute, SC Imaginario was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Rocha to maneuver through the defense. Rui Amorims short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Vítor Carvalho to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Vítor Borba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute, Joaquim Vieira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute, Rui Amorim made a precise shot to the right of Vítor Carvalho. SC Imaginario's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. After having played for 87 minutes, Vítor Borba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Ingilde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vítor Borba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 89thth minute of the game Vítor Borba who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Imaginario's Vítor Carvalho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Jacinto Rocha fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Imaginario's protests and gave Jacinto Rocha a yellow card for diving instead. Jacinto Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. A hard shot 91 in the game by Rui Amorim from a close distance when the talented Vítor Carvalho managed to make a qualified save. SC Imaginario's players were relieved. Raul Anjos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bento Faro having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
