Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Ingilde's Vítor Borba started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in SC Ingilde's zone, Alfredo Assunção stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bento Faro came out of the goal and Alfredo Assunção tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bento Faro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Américo Miranda in the 4th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henrique Santos during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 11 played minutes SC Ingilde got a freekick which was hit by Henrique Santos. Eusébio Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vítor Borba in the 13th minute of the match. After 14 played minutes SC Ingilde got a freekick which was hit by Henrique Santos. The audience was convinced that Alfredo Assunção's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bento Faro was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Américo Miranda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bento Faro having to make a save. Alfredo Assunção fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bento Faro having to interfere. Bento Faro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Assunção, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Américo Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Américo Miranda stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Américo Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredo Assunção sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rui Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bento Faro made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Alfredo Assunção sent off a good shot on target. In the 77th minute, Alfredo Assunção got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Américo Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alfredo Assunção could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Bento Faro made a huge save. If Alfredo Assunção had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute Rui Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusébio Alves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 94 minutes, Vítor Borba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Ingilde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vítor Borba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Vítor Borba came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the SC Ingilde fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vítor Borba couldn't finish the play. SC Ingilde's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
