Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Fernando Soares started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some careless play in the Morgadinha FC defense, Alfredo Lopes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulo Pinheiro. The Morgadinha FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulo Pinheiro should have stopped the shot. João Moura took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rui Moniz. Rui Moniz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 16th minute, Fernando Pacheco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. João Moura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Rui Moniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 19 played minutes Ribeiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Neto. A collision led to Morgadinha FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Pedro Gaspar hit a great ball. Fernando Soares was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 23rd minute. Ribeiro FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Alfredo Lopes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Paulo Pinheiro made a huge save. Fernando Soares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulo Pinheiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. João Moura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Rui Moniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rui Moniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Matias in the 34th minute of play. The supporters of Morgadinha FC booed when Ribeiro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Neto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute, João Moura got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Henrique Antunes kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Morgadinha FC's Paulo Pinheiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Morgadinha FC from getting a goal against them. After having played for 45 minutes, Fernando Soares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ribeiro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernando Soares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alfredo Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Pinheiro having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for João Moura to strike the kick off in the second half. Ribeiro FC's Rui Moniz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Moura in the 56th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Alfredo Lopes notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Morgadinha FC's Paulo Pinheiro. Paulo Pinheiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 70thth minute of the game João Moura who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ribeiro FC's Rui Moniz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fernando Pacheco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If João Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Humberto Matias got free with Rui Moniz in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rui Moniz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Moura in the 85th minute of the match. If Alfredo Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Fernando Pacheco fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Morgadinha FC's protests and gave Fernando Pacheco a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th minute, Fernando Pacheco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fernando Soares struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Paulo Pinheiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ribeiro FC.
