Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Júlio Amaral started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute Hélder Pedroso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viriato Paiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 11 played minutes Murzeleira FC got a freekick which was hit by Álvaro Viana. Júlio Amaral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A long shot from Augusto Gueifão in the 24th minute of play was well struck, but Cândido Moniz made a really good save at the right post. In the 33rd minute, Jorge Mota got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Jorge Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th match minute, SC Pazide was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vítor Faro to maneuver through the defense. Jorge Mota fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cândido Moniz having to interfere. If Américo Morais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernando Coimbra kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Hélder Pedroso who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Viriato Paiva when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cândido Moniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Murzeleira FC's goal looked a bit too open when Júlio Amaral came free, but Viriato Paiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Murzeleira FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing SC Pazide to leave the ground with a draw.
