Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Jorge Mota managed to get in a good position for a shot. Murzeleira FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorge Mota was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abel Leal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Viriato Paiva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adolfo Borba's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Viriato Paiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filipe Coimbra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adolfo Borba might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Viriato Paiva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adolfo Borba ran back to his position shaking his head. Adolfo Lima's late challenge caught a Travassinho FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adolfo Lima helped the player get up and apologised. Viriato Paiva came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Travassinho FC's Adolfo Borba. But to his dismay, Adolfo Borba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Adolfo Lima hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Viriato Paiva didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adolfo Borba went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Viriato Paiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Pacheco in the 33rd minute of the match. Viriato Paiva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Jorge Mota came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Murzeleira FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Mota couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Travassinho FC's Filipe Coimbra got a free kick in the 40th minute. Viriato Paiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolfo Borba, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The Murzeleira FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Travassinho FC were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jorge Mota was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Travassinho FC's goalkeeper Abel Leal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Gustavo Pacheco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Murzeleira FC's Américo Morais got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abel Leal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Mota, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Jorge Mota struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Abel Leal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Murzeleira FC. Gustavo Pacheco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Américo Morais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Abel Leal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Jorge Mota got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Américo Morais recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abel Leal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Mota, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Abel Leal came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Murzeleira FC's Jorge Mota. But to his dismay, Jorge Mota quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Murzeleira FC were awarded a corner in the 98th minute after Travassinho FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Augusto Gueifão took the corner. After taking down the ball on Murzeleira FC's corner Augusto Gueifão fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Abel Leal quite easily take care of the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Travassinho FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
