Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Delfim Antunes got the match started through his kick off. When Manuel Amorim fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Friume's protests and gave Manuel Amorim a yellow card for diving instead. If Augusto Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 6th minute of the game. One of SC Ameixede:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Friume:s goal. João Moreira shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. SC Ameixede's Mário Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Macedo in the 24th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 29th minute by Alfredo Amaro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 30th minute, Óscar Morais hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute, Manuel Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. From close distance Ricardo Rocha pressed in the 1-0 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 41 minutes into the game. In the 45th minute Alfredo Amaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Vaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Alfredo Amaro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luís Vaz. Friume's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfredo Amaro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfredo Amaro to strike the kick off in the second half. Mário Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delfim Antunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Mário Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delfim Antunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Augusto Macedo got free with Mário Fonseca in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Augusto Macedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Friume's supporters rose to their feet, but Augusto Macedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mário Fonseca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Afonso Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After 77 minutes, Emanuel Gaspar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Ameixede and the Friume players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 78th match minute, SC Ameixede was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Gaspar to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute, Delfim Antunes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 86th minute, Delfim Antunes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mário Fonseca. The goal made the score 2-1. Augusto Macedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Friume's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
