Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) If Armando Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that José Paredes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luís Vaz was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Friume's zone, José Paredes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Vaz came out of the goal and José Paredes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to SC Benedita getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Gil Monteiro hit a great ball. Delfim Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Valente having to interfere. Luís Vaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vítor Paredes during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 22nd match minute, SC Benedita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vítor Paredes to maneuver through the defense. Emanuel Valente was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from João Moreira. 24 minutes into the match, Friume's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Garcia came free, but Luís Vaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuel Valente made an important save on a dangerous shot by Augusto Macedo in the 27th minute. Augusto Macedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 41st minute of the match Gil Monteiro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luís Vaz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 43rd minute, Hélder Assunção hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Delfim Antunes was the one to do the kick off. Emanuel Valente came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Friume's Delfim Antunes. But to his dismay, Delfim Antunes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Óscar Morais hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Delfim Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armando Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Vaz having to interfere. Friume's Luís Vaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Paredes in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th match minute, Friume was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Júlio Vaz to maneuver through the defense. José Paredes struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Luís Vaz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Benedita. The audience thought a goal was coming when Armando Garcia got free with Luís Vaz in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 82nd minute, Augusto Macedo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Friume fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After 89 minutes, Hélder Assunção mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Benedita and the Friume players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 89th minute, Hélder Assunção hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute, one of Friume:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Friume. Luís Vaz had in the 95thth minute some difficulties stopping Gil Monteiro's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Gil Monteiro scored 2-1 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luís Vaz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 98th minute, José Paredes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Friume were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SC Benedita for a fine match.
