Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Óscar Machado started the match with the kick off. João Nogueira hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Rui Magalhães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Gomes having to interfere. 7 minutes into the game, one of Livramento FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Emílio Pinheiro kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Fernando Leão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Óscar Machado, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 12th match minute, Gomariz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Bessa to maneuver through the defense. Rui Magalhães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Gomes having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manuel Domingues in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Augusto Gomes saved Livramento FC from getting behind. Manuel Domingues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Óscar Machado came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Livramento FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Óscar Machado couldn't finish the play. Manuel Domingues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Augusto Gomes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Domingues in the 42nd minute of play. After 45 minutes, Amadeu Luz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gomariz FC and the Livramento FC players grew even worse after the yellow card.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manuel Domingues stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Manuel Domingues who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Livramento FC's Augusto Gomes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gomariz FC's Manuel Domingues got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 64th minute, Vicente Faro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fernando Leão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Óscar Machado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fernando Leão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Óscar Machado went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. After having played for 71 minutes, Rui Magalhães managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gomariz FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rui Magalhães was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Livramento FC's Augusto Gomes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Domingues in the 78th minute of play. Manuel Domingues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 83 minutes into the game, Manuel Monteiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Livramento FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gomariz FC the free kick. The supporters of Gomariz FC booed when Livramento FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Monteiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernando Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Faro in the 96th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Gomariz FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Livramento FC.
