Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Hélder Resende made the kick off which started today's match. Hélder Resende hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Leirosa's zone, Hélder Resende stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mariano Brito came out of the goal and Hélder Resende tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Emílio Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hélder Resende recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leirosa's Mariano Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélder Resende in the 15th minute of play. Emílio Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Brito having to interfere. Bernardo Nunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Cristiano Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gustavo Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardo Nunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Bucellas FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Jaime Morais hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the game, Leirosa's Gustavo Castro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristiano Almeida made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. If Emílio Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bernardo Nunes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bucellas FC's Hélder Resende got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leirosa's Mariano Brito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Leirosa from getting a goal against them. Mariano Brito made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Emílio Neves sent off a good shot on target. If Hélder Resende had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emílio Neves in the 65thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mariano Brito, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Hélder Resende received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Mariano Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fábio Brito hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Mariano Brito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emílio Neves in the 72nd minute. Bernardo Nunes scored 2-1 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristiano Almeida, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Bernardo Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustavo Pinto hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Mariano Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélder Resende in the 85th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Bernardo Nunes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristiano Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Nunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hélder Resende recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mariano Brito made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Emílio Neves sent off a good shot on target. Leirosa's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
