The supporters of Leirosa booed when SC Romainho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artur Maia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francisco Faria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Vaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 39 minutes of play, Leirosa's Eduardo Ramos made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Francisco Faria was left in no man's land by his defense there! Francisco Faria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Castro in the 45th minute of the match. Leirosa's Gustavo Castro got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Francisco Faria made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eduardo Ramos in the 51st minute. After 59 played minutes Gustavo Castro rounded SC Romainho's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-2. If Gonçalo Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mariano Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonçalo Leão in the 70th minute of play. The supporters of Leirosa booed when SC Romainho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filipe Alves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francisco Faria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Gustavo Castro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Francisco Faria having to make a save. After 88 minutes, Filipe Alves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Romainho and the Leirosa players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 89th minute, Filipe Alves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leirosa's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
