Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hélder Resende made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emílio Neves in the 52nd minute of play forced SC Romainho's goalkeeper Francisco Faria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A wasted opportunity for Bucellas FC. 72 minutes into the match, Bucellas FC's goalkeeper Cristiano Almeida had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manuel Porto. Francisco Faria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hélder Resende, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hélder Resende in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francisco Faria saved SC Romainho from getting behind. In the 91st minute Hélder Resende shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Faria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute, Gonçalo Leão reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cristiano Almeida. The goal made the score 1-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. SC Romainho walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
