Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marco Brito to make the kick off. Raul Resende took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vasco Guarda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, SC Guadramil's Afonso Moutinho got a free kick in the 56th minute. Cristóvão Soares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. When Eusébio Pedroso fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Berlengas's protests and gave Eusébio Pedroso a yellow card for diving instead.
