Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nuno Freitas kicked off to start the match. Nuno Freitas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Ricardo Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Gomes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Américo Pedroso in the 11th minute of play forced SC Touvedo's goalkeeper Emanuel Figueiredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Gomes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 14 minutes into the game, Américo Pedroso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Emanuel Figueiredo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ricardo Barbosa didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 20th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. A hard shot 26 in the game by Sandro Anjos from a close distance when the talented Ricardo Barbosa managed to make a qualified save. Palheirao FC's players were relieved. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, David Gomes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palheirao FC's supporters rose to their feet, but David Gomes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Figueiredo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Américo Pedroso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Emanuel Figueiredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amadeu Coimbra's late challenge caught a SC Touvedo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amadeu Coimbra helped the player get up and apologised. In the 32nd minute, Amadeu Coimbra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, SC Touvedo's José Lisboa tried to score from far away in the 33rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Palheirao FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Nuno Freitas scored to the left of an out of position Ricardo Barbosa, making the score, 2-1. Nuno Freitas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ricardo Barbosa having to make a save. Nuno Freitas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Barbosa having to interfere. 48 minutes into the match, SC Touvedo's goal looked a bit too open when David Gomes came free, but Emanuel Figueiredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Palheirao FC's Ricardo Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuno Freitas in the 57th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Gonçalo Torres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. David Gomes struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Emanuel Figueiredo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palheirao FC. Américo Pedroso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Emanuel Figueiredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Américo Pedroso got free with Emanuel Figueiredo in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ricardo Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandro Anjos in the 82nd minute of play. David Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute.
