Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Amílcar Viegas started the match with the kick off. Carlos Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 9 minutes into the match, Sérgio Costa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eduardo Brito. Calvaria FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sérgio Costa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Calvaria FC's zone, Carlos Queirós stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eduardo Brito came out of the goal and Carlos Queirós tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sérgio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Eduardo Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The goalkeeper, Eduardo Brito, was totally fooled by Eucizia FC's Augusto Baptista, who 19 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Hélder Henriques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amílcar Viegas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amílcar Viegas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 26th match minute, Eucizia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filipe Macedo to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Amílcar Viegas sped through Eucizia FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hélder Henriques. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Queirós in the 33rd minute of play forced Calvaria FC's goalkeeper Eduardo Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Calvaria FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Júlio Guarda hit a great ball. In the 45th minute, Augusto Baptista sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Calvaria FC's Eduardo Brito didn't even have to move. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Cristóvão Pires's late challenge caught a Calvaria FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristóvão Pires helped the player get up and apologised. In the 53rd minute, Cristóvão Pires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute Carlos Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Queirós might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eduardo Brito. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos Queirós ran back to his position shaking his head. If Sérgio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eduardo Brito didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Queirós went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 70th minute, one of Calvaria FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Calvaria FC. In the 72nd minute there was a penalty for Eucizia FC. Augusto Baptista stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Eduardo Brito. 4-1. Eduardo Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sérgio Costa in the 75th minute of the match. Hélder Henriques made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Paulo Nascimento sent off a good shot on target. In the 81st minute, Filipe Macedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Amílcar Viegas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Queirós in the 87th minute of play forced Calvaria FC's goalkeeper Eduardo Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the game, Eucizia FC's Carlos Queirós nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eduardo Brito made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Amílcar Viegas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hélder Henriques came out and tried to block the shot, but Amílcar Viegas slotted it home off the left post making it 5-2 in the 97th minute. When the referee ended the match the Eucizia FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
