Cristiano Assunção blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Inácio Veiga having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Raul Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Adegas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Raul Santos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Santarém breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tortozendo's Paulo Santarém played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Pinto in the 9th minute of play. Raul Pinto scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulo Santarém, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Inácio Veiga successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. José Esteves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulo Santarém read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Raul Pinto took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulo Santarém. A wasted opportunity for Adegas FC. 42 minutes into the game, one of Tortozendo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Bento Bessa made the kick off in the second half. Raul Silva hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute Raul Pinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Santarém saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Tortozendo's Afonso Pereira got a free kick in the 58th minute. Cristiano Assunção took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Inácio Veiga. Inácio Veiga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Adegas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tortozendo the free kick. After 72 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Adegas FC! The referee gave Tortozendo a penalty, 74 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Bento Cruz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Adegas FC's Inácio Veiga. 2-2. Raul Santos in the 79thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal.
