Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. SC Comendadeira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vasco Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Vasco Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute, Bento Bessa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tortozendo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. SC Comendadeira's Armindo Torres got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paulo Santarém stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armindo Torres's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Vasco Costa struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Paulo Santarém didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Comendadeira. The referee showed Afonso Pereira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bento Bessa made a kick off. Bruno Resende was a little too slow when Bento Bessa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 0-3. 66 minutes into the match, SC Comendadeira's goal looked a bit too open when Bento Bessa came free, but Bruno Resende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristiano Assunção might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bruno Resende. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristiano Assunção ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 72nd match minute, SC Comendadeira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vítor Moniz to maneuver through the defense. Tortozendo's Bento Cruz couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SC Comendadeira. Bento Bessa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
