Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) SC Tabaco's Delfim Mendes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Armoniz's goalkeeper Vicente Macedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 8th minute Delfim Mendes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Macedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oliveira Bessa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Vicente Macedo made a huge save. Gustavo Coimbra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélder Borba having to interfere. SC Tabaco's Hélder Borba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Coimbra in the 24th minute of play. Afonso Delgado's late challenge caught a SC Armoniz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Afonso Delgado helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Coimbra in the 32nd minute of play forced SC Tabaco's goalkeeper Hélder Borba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vasco Azevedo hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. If Oliveira Bessa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Delfim Mendes struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Vicente Macedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Tabaco. Vicente Macedo made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Oliveira Bessa sent off a good shot on target. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gustavo Coimbra was the one to do the kick off. Oliveira Bessa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Macedo having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, SC Tabaco's Delfim Mendes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vicente Macedo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vicente Macedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delfim Mendes in the 63rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mariano Cruz during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of SC Tabaco booed when SC Armoniz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oliveira Bessa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Miguel Fontes kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Rui Porto hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Hélder Borba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Coimbra in the 72nd minute of play. Delfim Mendes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Delfim Mendes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 81st match minute, SC Armoniz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vasco Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Armoniz's goalkeeper Vicente Macedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Oliveira Bessa struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Vicente Macedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Tabaco. When the referee ended the match the SC Tabaco players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
