Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Rogério Andrade started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 4 minutes into the game, Monsaraz FC's Cláudio Santos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nuno Resende made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Fábio Faro, 8 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Bruno Moniz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nuno Resende having to make a save. 18 minutes into the match, SC Seda's goal looked a bit too open when Cláudio Santos came free, but Nuno Resende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Moniz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Nuno Resende tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nuno Resende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cláudio Santos in the 22nd minute of play. After having played for 24 minutes, Bruno Moniz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monsaraz FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruno Moniz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The attack was good, but when Cláudio Santos in the 27th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Afonso Mota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogério Andrade in the 33rd minute of the match. Rogério Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruno Moniz scored 0-2 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nuno Resende, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulo Macedo got free with Afonso Mota in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paulo Macedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Afonso Mota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Seda's Nuno Resende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cláudio Santos in the 48th minute of play. After the first half Monsaraz FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Cláudio Santos made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adelino Delgado during the 51st minute. Cláudio Santos might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nuno Resende. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cláudio Santos ran back to his position shaking his head. Bruno Moniz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nuno Resende having to make a save. SC Seda's Adelino Delgado got his second yellow card of the match in the 96th minute. The referee ordered Adelino Delgado off the ground. In the 97th minute, Adelino Delgado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Monsaraz FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
