Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joaquim Pinto took the kick off in the first half of the match. Simão Guerreiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Cabral in the 8th minute of the match. If António Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Carvalha FC's Nuno Antunes got control of the ball when António Lopes tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 17th minute Pedro Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simão Guerreiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Simão Guerreiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Cabral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, António Lopes made a precise shot to the right of Nuno Antunes. Carvalha FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After 29 played minutes Tomazes FC got a freekick which was hit by Filipe Mota. In the game's 30th minute Carvalha FC's Américo Sá took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Simão Guerreiro and thus the score was 1-2. 39 minutes into the match, Carvalha FC's Cristiano Lisboa broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inácio Leão in the 40th minute of play forced Tomazes FC's goalkeeper Simão Guerreiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. António Lopes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nuno Antunes having to make a save. The supporters of Tomazes FC booed when Carvalha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Veiga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 72 minutes, Jorge Moreira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tomazes FC and the Carvalha FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Carvalha FC's Américo Sá shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 73rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Simão Guerreiro but with some difficulty. In the 75th minute, António Lopes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Tomazes FC booed when Carvalha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristiano Lisboa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomazes FC were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after Carvalha FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nuno Faria took the corner. After taking down the ball on Tomazes FC's corner Nuno Faria fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nuno Antunes quite easily take care of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers António Lopes in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nuno Antunes saved Carvalha FC from getting behind. 86 minutes into the match, Carvalha FC's goal looked a bit too open when António Lopes came free, but Nuno Antunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomazes FC's António Lopes got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
