Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jaime Moreira took the kick off in the first half of the match. Monsarros FC's Eusébio Maia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diamantino Ferro in the 3rd minute of play. In the 7th minute, Jaime Moreira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eusébio Maia was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Diamantino Ferro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute Júlio Pinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diamantino Ferro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Eusébio Maia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the game, Óscar Fontes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aguda FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Monsarros FC the free kick. After 25 played minutes Aguda FC got a freekick which was hit by Óscar Fontes. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Júlio Pinho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monsarros FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Júlio Pinho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nuno Simões breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eusébio Maia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diamantino Ferro in the 29th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the game, Jaime Moreira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aguda FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Monsarros FC the free kick. After 30 played minutes Aguda FC got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Moreira. In the 35th minute, Jaime Moreira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Monsarros FC's Júlio Pinho in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Aguda FC's goalie prevented a goal. Filipe Domingues's late challenge caught a Monsarros FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filipe Domingues helped the player get up and apologised. Filipe Domingues kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Aguda FC's Henrique Morais got a free kick in the 46th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Júlio Pinho was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Moreira in the 52nd minute of play forced Monsarros FC's goalkeeper Eusébio Maia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 53 minutes into the game, Monsarros FC's Júlio Pinho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nuno Simões made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Macedo in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nuno Simões prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Henrique Morais hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Monsarros FC's Heitor Coimbra tried to score from far away in the 67th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 75 minutes into the game, Fábio Henriques was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aguda FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Monsarros FC the free kick. After 76 played minutes Aguda FC got a freekick which was hit by Fábio Henriques. Júlio Pinho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nuno Simões having to make a save. When Henrique Morais was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 83 minutes had been played. Pedro Macedo struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Nuno Simões didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monsarros FC. 87 minutes into the match, Aguda FC's goal looked a bit too open when Júlio Pinho came free, but Nuno Simões reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute, Diamantino Ferro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aguda FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Aguda FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Monsarros FC.
