Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Delfim Garcia kicked off to start the match. Júlio Teixeira hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Xavier Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delfim Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Delfim Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albertino Mota came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Montes FC's Adolfo Pinto. But to his dismay, Adolfo Pinto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 19 minutes into the match, Rui Castro notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Montes FC's Xavier Nascimento. Xavier Nascimento was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 24th minute, Júlio Teixeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Pereira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Xavier Nascimento made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Pinto in the 27th minute of play forced SC Achadinha's goalkeeper Albertino Mota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Xavier Nascimento managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when SC Achadinha's Daniel Pereira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 35th minute Adolfo Pinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albertino Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 40 played minutes SC Achadinha got a freekick which was hit by Raul Leiria. André Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

55 minutes into the game, SC Achadinha's Delfim Garcia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Xavier Nascimento made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. André Barbosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd minute, Adolfo Pinto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adolfo Pinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Albertino Mota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albertino Mota made an important save on a dangerous shot by André Barbosa in the 71st minute. When Delfim Garcia came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the SC Achadinha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delfim Garcia couldn't finish the play. Xavier Nascimento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Pereira, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Montes FC's Xavier Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Pereira in the 80th minute of play. If Adolfo Pinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Afonso Mendes fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Achadinha's protests and gave Afonso Mendes a yellow card for diving instead. Afonso Mendes hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Daniel Pereira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Achadinha's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
