Emanuel Gueifão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xavier Nascimento having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 52 played minutes Montes FC got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Garcia. After recieving a nice pass, Nadais FC's Afonso Branco tried to score from far away in the 54th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling André Barbosa in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xavier Fontes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adolfo Pinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers André Barbosa in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Xavier Fontes saved Nadais FC from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Nadais FC's zone, Adolfo Pinto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xavier Fontes came out of the goal and Adolfo Pinto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xavier Fontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Pinto in the 79th minute of the match. Emanuel Gueifão blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Xavier Nascimento having to make a save.
