Delfim Garcia started the match with the kick off. A collision led to SC Achadinha getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Raul Leiria hit a great ball. Albertino Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Catarino Araújo in the 8th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Passos FC's Catarino Araújo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Albertino Mota. Albertino Mota yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Albertino Mota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Catarino Araújo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Delfim Garcia scored 2-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Óscar Setúbal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 23rd minute, Daniel Pereira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Achadinha fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Albertino Mota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Catarino Araújo in the 27th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Catarino Araújo to strike the kick off in the second half. Passos FC's Óscar Setúbal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delfim Garcia in the 55th minute of play. Alexandre Bessa kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Luís Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 67 minutes into the match, Passos FC's Luís Moreira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Albertino Mota narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 69th minute, Luís Moreira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
