Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) António Martins started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some careless play in the Fontelas defense, António Martins kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sebastião Gaspar. The Fontelas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sebastião Gaspar should have stopped the shot. Amílcar Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júlio Soares having to interfere. Rui Vieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júlio Soares having to interfere. Amílcar Carvalho might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Júlio Soares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amílcar Carvalho ran back to his position shaking his head. Rui Vieira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Júlio Soares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bezeguimbra's Júlio Soares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Bezeguimbra from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amílcar Carvalho got free with Júlio Soares in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rui Vieira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Júlio Soares having to make a save. Amílcar Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Júlio Soares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Vieira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Fontelas's Gaspar Freitas got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 38thth minute of the game Eduardo Rocha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fontelas's Sebastião Gaspar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sebastião Gaspar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Rocha in the 47th minute of play. The Fontelas players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bezeguimbra were winning 0-1.

André Ferro's late challenge caught a Bezeguimbra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. André Ferro helped the player get up and apologised. After 51 played minutes Fontelas got a freekick which was hit by André Ferro. Sebastião Gaspar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from António Martins in the 52nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that António Martins's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sebastião Gaspar was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. After 54 played minutes Fontelas got a freekick which was hit by André Ferro. António Martins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. António Martins was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 60th minute. Bezeguimbra's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Sebastião Gaspar made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Eduardo Rocha sent off a good shot on target. 65 minutes into the match, Fontelas's goal looked a bit too open when António Martins came free, but Sebastião Gaspar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eduardo Rochas short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Sebastião Gaspar to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Vieira in the 70th minute of play forced Bezeguimbra's goalkeeper Júlio Soares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Bezeguimbra's Adelino Antunes got a free kick in the 71st minute. Sebastião Gaspar made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Eduardo Rocha sent off a good shot on target. Bezeguimbra's Júlio Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rui Vieira in the 76th minute of play. Eduardo Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Sebastião Gaspar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. António Martins struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Sebastião Gaspar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bezeguimbra. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, António Martins managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bezeguimbra's supporters rose to their feet, but António Martins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastião Gaspar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Júlio Soares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Vieira, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After 89 minutes of play, Fontelas's Rui Vieira made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Júlio Soares was left in no man's land by his defense there! The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
