Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vasco Soares kicked off to start the match. If Rafael Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute, Vasco Soares fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. SC Alferrarede's Miguel Porto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vasco Soares in the 24th minute of play. If Vítor Amaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Delgada's zone, Rafael Queirós stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Pinheiro came out of the goal and Rafael Queirós tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vítor Amaro in the 31st minute of play forced Delgada's goalkeeper Pedro Pinheiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th match minute, Delgada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Pires to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute of the match Armando Abreu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Pinheiro skillfully saved the ball. Rafael Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Pinheiro having to interfere. Vasco Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Porto having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vítor Amaro made a kick off. Miguel Porto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vasco Soares in the 51st minute of play. When José Aguiar fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Alferrarede's protests and gave José Aguiar a yellow card for diving instead. José Aguiar hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Vasco Soares struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Miguel Porto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Delgada. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Vítor Amaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Alferrarede's supporters rose to their feet, but Vítor Amaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Pinheiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vasco Soares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Miguel Porto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Alferrarede's Miguel Porto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amílcar Viegas in the 70th minute of play. Vítor Amaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Pinheiro having to interfere. Vítor Amaro was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 82nd minute. SC Alferrarede's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. SC Alferrarede's Adelino Cunha shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 83rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Pedro Pinheiro but with some difficulty. If Vítor Amaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafael Queirós got free with Pedro Pinheiro in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 95th minute, Vítor Amaro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Delgada's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
