The referee showed Gabriel Pires the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gabriel Pires hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After having played for 10 minutes, Fernando Cardoso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Cansado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernando Cardoso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Tiago Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute, Marco Nunes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tiago Nascimento blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Álvaro Paredes having to make a save. Fernando Cardoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo Assis in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emanuel Moutinho saved SC Cansado from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Assis in the 29th minute of play forced SC Cansado's goalkeeper Emanuel Moutinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute, Fernando Cardoso made a precise shot to the right of Álvaro Paredes. Galega's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Álvaro Paredes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernando Cardoso in the 34th minute. Fernando Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manuel Cruz kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Paulo Assis put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Emanuel Moutinho. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paulo Assis was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Galega got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Cruz. Gabriel Pires hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After 56 minutes Galega's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marco Nunes who took care of the corner kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Afonso Araújo during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Galega getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Afonso Araújo hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute of the match Miguel Pinto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Álvaro Paredes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Pedro Machado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Emanuel Moutinho made a huge save. Pedro Machado who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Emanuel Moutinho when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Álvaro Paredes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiago Nascimento in the 70th minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, SC Cansado's goalkeeper Emanuel Moutinho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedro Machado. Tiago Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Álvaro Paredes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Álvaro Paredes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiago Nascimento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Álvaro Paredes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiago Nascimento in the 87th minute of play. Tiago Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Álvaro Paredes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd match minute, Galega was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Cruz to maneuver through the defense. SC Cansado were awarded a corner in the 96th minute after Galega's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marco Nunes took the corner. The corner ended in Marco Nunes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Galega's Álvaro Paredes did a great save. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
